Zazzau Emirate Is Supporting UNICEF Programmes – Emir Bamalli



Zazzau Emirate is fully supporting all UNICEF programmes which focus on women and children.

Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli  stated this when he received UNICEF Country Representative in Nigeria in his palace.

He said, Zazzau Emirate is working round the clock together with all its district heads and other traditional tittle holders whenever supporting programmes such as UNICEF.

Emir Bamalli assured the country representative that they will continue to do the needful at any given time to support children’s progress and development.

The monarch gave assurances that people of the emirate are very cooperative. 

In her remarks, Ms. Cristina Munduate UNICEF Country Representative Nigeria, expressed  appreciation to the Zazzau Emirate for the support and cooperation their organization is receiving.

Munduate said, UNICEF is very confident with people of the Emirate for accepting their programmes, particularly for the women and children support.

The country representative reiterated UNICEF’s commitment towards assisting women and children in Nigeria and Zazzau Emirate in particular.

She appreciated the traditional ruler’s commitment and support for UNICEF’s programmes.

Earlier in his remarks, the Executive  Secretary Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Hamza Ibrahim Ikara told the emir that they were in the palace to pay  homage in appreciation to Zazzau Emirate for the support and cooperation UNICEF is receiving.

Hamza Ikara said, even though the country representative  is not a new person in the country,  she is back on a new role in  UNICEF’s operations.

The team of stakeholders to the palace included, Executive Secretary Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (PHCDA), Dr. Hamza Ikara,  Alhaji Zubairu Galadima Soba Director NOA Kaduna, DG RUWASSA Kaduna State, Engineer Mubarak Shehu Ladan, among others.
