Contractors handling various projects in Zaria Local Government Area have been charged to ensure the speedy and quality work for the timely completion as scheduled.
The Council Chairman, Engr. Aliyu Idris Ibrahim (Magani Sai Da Gwaji) who gave the charge while presenting contract award letters to the contractors handling projects at Dutsen Abba Ward at their sites.
Engr Aliyu Idris Ibrahim said the presentation of the letters signifies the commencement of the projects proposed by the local government as promised during their campaign.
He advised the beneficiaries to make sure they support the contractors as they begin working on the sites of the projects.
The Council Chairman also said more projects are on the way as dividends of democracy and it will continue to provide more meaningful projects that will touch the lives of the citizens.
He said President Muhammadu Buhari and Mal. Nasiru Ahmed el-Rufai of Kaduna State as well as all the APC candidates deserve re-election for continuity of the good work they are doing that touch the lives of the citizenry.
Also speaking, an APC stakeholder in Kaduna State, Alh. Aminu Sani (Ajiyan Zazzau) said that the commencement of the project is a sign of fulfilment of the promises made when canvassing for votes during the local government elections.
He advised the people to support the APC-led government by giving the party total votes during the forthcoming general elections.
In his remarks, the Chairman APC Zaria Local Government Area, Alh.. Abdu Ringo called on the benefiting communities to vote APC candidates from President down to the State Assembly for continuity.
All the benefiting communities have expressed their happiness and support for the projects and assured their commitment towards supporting and giving their entire votes to the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections in Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
The projects include electrification of Sabon Garin Majeru to Kugu, Primary school and culvert at Rafin Gora, Bridge at kafin Mardanni, Electrification at Sayen Gobirawa and Yeskwake all in Dutsen Abba Ward.
