Senator Kabiru Garba Mafara has Saturday constituted twenty one-man committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to oversee his faction in Zamfara state.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the inauguration, the chairman of the committee, Hon. Surajo Maikatako stated that injustice and bad governance by the leadership of the party in the state led to the faction by Sen Marafa’s group.
According to him, unity and progress of the party in the state will be given top priority by the committee , stressing that the committee will work assiduously to ensure all supporters of APC and Senator Kabiru Marafa have been equally treated.
“Injustice and anarchy by the leadership of APC in the state led to the constituting our committee by Sen. Kabiru Marafa and we will not continue watching leadership of the party to disrupt the peace, progress and unity of our party and members in the state”. He said
Maikatako further stated that the committee under his leadership will remain committed to ensure progress of the party, calling on Sen Marafa’s supporters to remain law abiding citizens for the progress of the party in the state.
