Youth under the aegis of Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) Bauchi state chapter have applauded President Mohammadu Buhari for winning the war against Insurgency in the North East Sub region of the country.
A statement signed by the Bauchi state Chairman of the organization, Muhammed Dauda and made available to newsmen in Bauchi also hailed the President for the provision of employment opportunities to over 20, 000 across the country.
“President Buhari has strengthening the Nigeria military by providing modern sophisticated warfare for the fight against insurgency, the purchase of new air crafts from Pakistan and Russia and more too numerous to mention.” Dauda said
Dauda however stressed that with all these and other achievements, we will without doubt profess that Mr. President is fulfilling his campaign promises as positive change has become quite obvious most especially the recent victory at Sambisa which is giving Nigerians the strong believe that change has truly come
“President Mohammadu Buhari has fulfilled his promise to Nigerians as his leadership
has successfully fought the menace of pipeline vandalization in the Niger delta region, the relocation of the military command centre to Maiduguri”
Dauda explained that President Buhari has also ensured preventive measure against future security threats with the establishment of Air force base in Katsina, Yola, Enugu, and Port Harcourt, as well as all the border towns surrounding the country whereas the delight of the North East is the newly completed Air Force Base in Bauchi.
Bauchi NYO chairman noted that the Buhari administration also created employment to large number of youth to become self-reliance, saying “It is inevitable to mention that the Federal Government under the able leadership of Mr. President has made land mark achievements ranging from the N-Power programme which has provided employment for over 200,000 youths in the country”.
He pointed out that Mr President had put much attention on the fight against corruption by successfully enlisting the support of multilateral institutions like the World Bank, IMF and other western and friendly countries which enhance the repatriation and recovery of billions of Nigerians looted funds.
The Chairman appreciated the President for given appointments to Bauchi state indigenes into key political offices which he said is a reciprocation of Mr. President gesture for the long existing relationship between himself and the people of Bauchi state.
