The Association of Primary School Headmasters and Principals of Junior Secondary School in Yobe State, have unanimously endorsed Governor Mai Mala Buni’s reform agenda on education in the state.
This was disclosed during an interactive session on Friday, that lasted for over two hours between the acting Education Secretary, Nguru Local Government Education Authority of Yobe State, Mallam Hamisu Ado Nguru, the Association of Headmasters and Principals of the Government Junior Day Secondary Schools in Nguru.
Presiding over the meeting, the ES informed the gathering that the state government has already approved promotion and benefits of all teachers across the state towards motivating them and improving the working conditions as well as welfare of the entire teachers across the state.
According to him, presently, government has set machinery to improve on the level education facilities and amenities among others, by putting in place all the necessary mechanism needed to address observed lapses in the education sector.
He also urged all the school administrators to remain focused and contribute positively towards revitalizing the education sector of the state and actualizing the dream of the governor.
Responding, both chairmen of the two groups, Abubakar Badamasi and Mallam Waziri Abba prayed for the success of Governor Buni’s administration and his determination to take Yobe State to the promised land.
They all assured the ES that their teachers are dedicated staff and highly committed to their work towards improving the learning standard of their students through quality and standard teaching.
