WYO-UN To Encourage Youths To Be Self Reliant – President-General

President-General of the World Youth Organisation (WYO-UN), Ambassador Matthew Adeyemi Adeniyi has hinted that the organization is set to encourage youths to be self reliant.
The WYO-UN President-General dropped this hint
in Ogbomoso at the presentation of empowerment and scholarship to youths in Oyo State.
Ambassador Adeniyi pointed out that in the face of the glaring present economic reality in the world, government at all levels can no longer provide jobs for the youths hence the need for them to be self reliant.
He stressed that it is no longer fashionable for youths throughout the world especially in Nigeria to wait on government for job.
Ambassador Adeniyi noted that in view of this, he is determined to do his bits to end the lacks and sufferings of the youths with lots of empowerment programmes that would better their lots all over the world.
He maintained that such programmes would create among others opportunities to empower youths as well as make them self-reliant and relieve the burden of focusing on government and public office holders for one assistance or the other.
The WYO-UN Ambassador however asked the youths to return their forms to the point of collection so that the data provided on the forms would be used to plan and ascertain the needs and quantity of the empowerment materials to prepare for the youths.
Ambassador Adeniyi also tasked Nigerian youths to steer clear of stealing, robbery and other social vices, saying, opportunities presented by his office would bring an end to myriads of lacks and problems facing the youths across the world.
