As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in commemorating World Oral Health Sciences, Womenhood School of Health Sciences uses the occasion to render free dental health services for women and children.
Director of the institution, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar said they decided to pick women and children to mark the celebration because they were the most affected in any issue in the country, stressing that they need a serious attention.
Earlier, Senator Shehu Sani called on the federal government to invest in the health sector for the purpose of the teaming populace to have access to good health.
He lamented that considering the way Nigerians troop abroad for medical treatment which consumed the country’s foreign reserve, it would have been better for the majority to take their treatment here in Nigeria in order to save money.
However, he commended Womenhood School of Health Sciences for rendering free dental health services to women and children in Kaduna. He called on other related organizations to emulate the Womenhood School of Health Sciences for the progress and development of the state.
