Wikki Tourists Coach Upbeat Despite 2-0 Loss To Tornadoes

The Chief Coach of Wikki Tourists of Bauchi, Abdullahi Adamu has described   his boys loss 2-0 to Niger Tornadoes in one of the week 11 matches of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) that he his  Satisfied with what his boys played, 

According to him while fielding questions from newsmen, “I am satisfied with what the boys played today. We have new players and that must have been the reason for today’s loss. We are building a team, we had some new boys during the mid season break. The main thing for us  is to build the team, surely they will start jellying from next week” .

On wether the team can escape relegation, looking at their current position, he said the team will remain in the Premier League no doubt.

On constant movement of players from one club to another, he said it depends on what is making the players to move, but  called on  the League Management Committee  (LMC),  to  ensure that the players are getting a copy of  contract papers they entered with the clubs so that they can have bargaining power if issues come up and when a body needs to stand for them.

Abdullahi Adamu joined the team during the break, replacing Coach Kabiru Dogo.

He had coached Green Beret of Zaria and Katsina United in the past.
