Tragedy struck in Ibadan on Saturday when the mother of the bride and one other died in an auto crash on the way to wedding reception ground.
It was however weeping and wailing galore at the scene of the accident as others in the bridal convoy on rushing down to the scene sighted the two lifeless bodies.
New Nigerian gathered that bride mother met her untimely death when the
SUV conveying her and other bridal convoy was involved in an auto crash
at Academy Area on the Lagos-Ibadan Express way.
It was learnt that the bride mother identified as Saidat and the other yet to be identified woman died on the spot leaving others sustaining injuries.
Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer SP Adekunle Ajisebutu when contacted said he was yet to be briefed about the auto crash but that he will find out to confirm the story.
