A Nigerian Researcher and Information Technology specialist, Dr. Jamilu Adamu has bagged an award of excellence for creating and developing a software for human intelligence.
The award titled Rescue Ambassador was conferred on Dr. Adamu by Coalition of Civil Society Organizations on Gender Equality, Child Protection and Good Governance (CSOGCLG) in recognition of his outstanding contribution in developing World Class artificial intelligence capable of competing favorably with others in its category.
Adamu’s software on human artificial intelligence, according to the awarding organization could be ranked among top three others developed by; Roberto Lopez of Barcelona , Spain, professor Zoran Sevarac of Belgrade and Peter Nicholas Biddle of the United States of America.
The ceremony organized in commemoration of UN International Day For Universal Access To Information was held in Abuja and attended by personalities from various walks of life.
Earlier at the occasion, Adamu, a researcher with National Mathematical Centre made a paper presentation where he highlighted fundamental and strategic measures to aid the county’s economic and security challenges through adoption of Robotic system.
While dedicating the award to his partner, CEO of Inara Foundation, Hajiya Aisha Waziri for her courage support and contributions in producing the prototype version of the Artificial Intelligence, the recipient of the award added that the Topneunet could be used to discover financial assets relationship, weather forecast, stock markets prediction, crude and refined oil prices among others.
” The application is useful in so many areas of human endeavours including, assisting traders, companies , data scientists to process information with accuracy and higher precision.
” The prototype of Topneunet is expected to be sent for users’ feedback and peer review in the middle of October 2022,” he disclosed.
