The event, led by Governor Sani and Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, saw the attendance of notable figures, including former Governor Dr.Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and Dr. Abubakar Mustapha, both of whom recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC.
