TY Buratai Foundation Congratulates  Indimi On His Honorary Degree

TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation has  congratulated Alhaji Muhammad Indimi  OFR, founder and chairman of Oriental Energy Resources (OER) for earning a Honourary Doctorate Degree of  Modibbo Adama University Yola on May 13, 2023.

This was contained in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani Sadaukin Garkuwan Keffi and Made Available to the press on  May 16, 2023. 

“Nigeria is indeed fortunate to have such a bold, competent and an astute businessman with a notable presence in the international business arena, he laid the foundation for unprecedented exponential growth and development.

“A humanitarian and a philanthropist who has received numerous awards as well as honourary doctorate degrees from notable universities in Nigeria, Ireland and the United State,” it said.

According to the statement, Indimi established Muhammad Indimi Foundation (MIF), which focuses on vulnerable families through  poverty alleviation, fight against hunger, illiteracy and health challenges. 

“He has sponsored less privileged and orphans to study at the International University of Africa (IUA) on scholarship in Sudan. Through the MIF, Indimi has empowered and supported people affected by the Boko Haram crisis in the North East. 

“He built a 100-unit N600 million housing estate, provided food, clothing, schools and clinics for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) by the Boko Haram insurgency in Borno State. 

“Muhammad Indimi foundation, has built a 100 unit N700 million modern residential estate in Enwang, Mbo LGA Akwa Ibom State. 

“He awarded over 470 scholarships in Akwa Ibom State and created a sponsorship programme for University of Uyo’s Department of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering.

” Indimi donated a multi-million-dollar International Business Centre to Lynn University in the United States, which was named after him,” the statement informed.

TY Buratai Humanity Care Foundation also took the opportunity to commend Modibbo Adama University Yola for conferring the honour on the  chairman of Oriental Energy Resources (OER).

“These feats constitute a fantastic legacy worth protecting and celebrating”. It added.
