Registrar/Chief Executive of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Professor Josiah Olusegun Ajiboye on Monday, disclosed that all the council’s operations are now in line with International standards and operations.
The TRCN Registrar made this known while receiving the International Standardization Organisation (ISO) Certificate of Compliance for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
Professor Ajiboye lauded all TRCN staff for their selfless service that led to the International recognition with the issuance of International Standardization Organisation (ISO) Certificate of Compliance to the Council.
The TRCN Registrar/Chief Executive tasked the staff to continue to do their best to sustain the enviable status already attained and aspire for greater achievements.
Professor Ajiboye who was fully of joy while receiving the Certificate emphasized “with this certification all operations of TRCN are adjudged to be in line with international standards and operations.”
The TRCN Registrar/Chief Registrar thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu and for their support to the agency promised that the agency will not rest on its oars towards uplifting teaching and its professionalism to its enviable global status to drive development in the country.
New Nigerian recalls that the International evaluation of TRCN spanned six months and it found that the council conducts its regulatory functions excellently
