The Commander Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) Major General SO Olabanji accompanied by Chief of Combat and Doctrine Development, Major General HT Wesley and Chief of Training, Major General JAL Jimoh briefed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and other participants during the unveiling of NA Doctrine and Training Policy 2022 at just COAS conference in Abuja.
In his introductory remarks, the Commander expressed profound gratitude to COAS for the confidence reposed on the command and support to accomplished this great feat.
General Olabanji pointed out that periodic review of Nigerian Army Doctrine and Training Policy is imperative, as it aimed at keeping in line with the operational and training requirements of the Nigerian Army to enhance professionalism.
He said the documents are by products of several suggestions and observations received as inputs from various formations and units during the period under review.
During the interactive session, TRADOC NA leadership was highly commended for excellent work and the COAS further reiterated his resolve to continue to support the Command.
Major highlights on the documents were brilliantly presented and discussed by Generals Wesley and Jimoh in order to update the participants on the current publications.
