*Says he remains most experienced among Oyo Guber candidates

Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin on Tuesday evening, said the party’s Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will win the February 25 Presidential election.
Featuring at the Oyo State NUJ Correspondents’ Chapel Guest of the month programme in Ibadan, the APC governorship candidate disclosed that Asiwaju Tinubu, ” is coming to restructure Nigeria for better.’
Senator Folarin emphasized that, “the APC Presidential candidate with the present situation, Asiwaju Tinubu is what Nigeria needs to overcome all its woes and move forward the way it should be and regain its glory among the comity of nations”.
Senator Folarin declared that Asiwaju Tinubu will win the February 25 Presidential election and that as as at now, the APC Presidential candidate is Leo Messi of Nigeria politics, saying, ” we know Asiwaju Tinubu will win the Presidential election”.
“We have 3.3 million register voters in Oyo State, we know Asiwaju will win and we are looking for ways to maximize the win, that is what prompted us to be going round the state again to solicit for the vote of the people, our target is to win between 1.5 to two million votes”, he said.
Senator Folarin added, ” of course, the presidential election will be different from the governorship, our projection is that Asiwaju will get 80% of votes in Oyo State, that is why all what we have been doing is consistently over 80%.
“We at times pull like one thousand people everyday, but we are also being scientific, we are getting figures everyday between 830 to 840, you can give three per cent margin error, that is still consistent of our projection. National Assembly members will make up the projection, they will win, when they win, I will come back here and discuss the way forward for the governorship elections.”
Commenting on his 2023 ambition, Senator Folarin declared that he remains the best and most experienced among governorship candidates in Oyo State, and that the incumbent governor of the state, Engineer Seyi Makinde did not plan and prepared to become the governor but came in ” as a learner.”
The APC governorship candidate noted that his administration will improve on the utilisation of the natural resources which Oyo State is blessed with to improve the state Internally Generated Revenue and stabilize the state economically and that his administration will declare emergency in the state education system, stressing that, “education is now a disaster in Oyo State”.
Lamenting that it is unfortunate that, “it is only in Oyo State that motor garages are better than schools” , the APC governorship candidate stressed that his administration would look into the poor state of education system in the state with a view to revamp it and that in doing this, he will not hesitate to involve the critical stakeholders.
Senator Folarin maintained that if elected as governor of Oyo State, his administration will have zero tolerance for violence and thuggery in and across the state, adding that issues of state sponsored thuggery would be addressed on his first day in office as the governor of the state, adding, ” Security of lives and property of people in the state underpin whatever achievement anybody want to achieve as the governor of the state, we are trying to confront it and we shall do it.”
