Tinubu Commissions 3 TETFUND Projects  In Ebonyi




In a bid to ensure quality education in Nigeria, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has commissioned three TETFUND sponsored projects in Ebonyi State.

Speaking at the formal commissioning of TETFUND sponsored projects cited in Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, the president commended the management of the institution for  exceptional roles in ensuring that students have quality education in the state.

The president  who was represented by the works minister, commended the management of Ebonyi State University for making the institution one of the best state owned universities in Nigeria and therefore, charged the management to embark on courses that will make students self employed after graduation.

He further stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria is  ready to support higher institutions in the country in order to produce quality graduates that will add value to the society.

On his part, Governor Francis Nwifuru appreciated the management of the institution for repositioning the school, saying that his administration will always support them, but however, called on the  Federal Government to assist in terms of research facilities and building of library in order to give students the best they can offer.

Among the projects commissioned are: Faculty of Education Building, University library, and  ICT/ Research Centre.
