Management of Max Air Limited has approved the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Dahiru Mangal as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.
A statement by the management of the company made available to the New Nigerian in Katsina said the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Mangal was confirmed at the weekend following the death of his uncle Alhaji Bashir Barau Mangal who died on Friday, December 23,2022 at a Private Hospital in Abuja after a Protracted illness and was the Vice Chairman Chief Executive Officer of Max Air.
According to the statement until his new appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Abubakar Dahiru Mangal was the Deputy Director of Finance of the Airline.
Alhaji Abubakar Dahiru Mangal, the statement said holds BA. Economics from the American University of Nigeria Yola, MSc International Business Salford University, Manchester United Kingdom (UK), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Finance and Investment Bayero University Kano (BUK).
The statement said Alhaji Abubakar Dahiru Mangal is currently pursuing his Doctorate degree in business Administration at Apollos University in the United States of America (USA).
Consequently, the management of Max Air is optimistic that the new CEO would bring his wealth of experience in the Aviation Industry to boost the growth of the Company, focus on delivering exceptional customer service and expand the global reach of the Airline, the MaxAir Management explained.
The Management emphasized that, “We look forward to Alhaji Abubakar’s leadership in driving the Airline’s growth and success and Max Air has been a leading Airline in Nigeria. Apart from dominating the domestic air operations in the country the airline also plays a very important role in annual hajj airlift by getting the highest number of seats of Nigerian pilgrims.”
Similarly, the statement noted that, MaxAir Airlift Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia from other West African Countries in addition to global charter Airline which recently involved in the evacuation of Nigerians from Libya, Ukraine and other countries of the world.
