Following his victory at the just concluded Chikun/Kajuru House of Representatives election, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State Chapter has congratulated Ekene Abubakar Adams over his victory at the polls.
This was contained in a statement signed by Kaduna SWAN Secretary, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, dated Tuesday February 28, 2023.
“SWAN Kaduna State congratulates you on your well deserved victory as a Representatives elect for Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency.
“It was well deserved, it shows that the people determine who leads them and the electoral process is the best test of popularity, under a free and fair exercise,” it said.
SWAN explained that as a sports enthusiast, Ekene’s victory will translate to development of sports not only in the constituency, but Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
SWAN therefore, wished him God”s blessings and guidance as he steps into another phase of life.
