The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, on behalf the entire PDP family has congratulated Cross River State Governor, Senator Benedict Ayade on his victory at the Supreme Court on Friday, the 9th of December, 2016.
A statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye called on PDP family to unite and forge ahead.
“His Excellency, this ‘victory’ marks the end of litigations on your Election matter; and we therefore enjoin you to continue focusing on the various infrastructural developmental projects you began since assumption of office in May 2015.
“In the same vain, we are calling on Barr. Joe Agi, SAN, to put the issues behind him and cooperate with the Governor and other stakeholders in the State to implement the Manifesto of our great Party. As a family, let’s unite and forge ahead for our general good. Cross River State is home of the PDP, and we all must work together to ensure that the people of the State enjoy his administration,” it concluded.
