Stop Exploiting Youth, Gubernatorial Aspirant Tells Politicians

A governorship aspirant in Osun State, Mr. Jolayemi Bosun Kamardeen has decried the rate at which politicians exploit the youth for their selfish interests.

Mr. Jolayemi who made the remarks while offering scholarship forms to members of Integral Leadership Foundation (ILF), in Oshogbo at the weekend, stressed the need for politicians to carve out programmes for youth rather than using them as thugs during elections only to dump them as soon as they get to power.
According to him, he has the plan to offer 200 scholarships to those seeking admission into Imam Hazat College of Education, Ilorin this year in continuation of his annual programmes for his foundation.
He however urged the youth to stop being scared of taking risks in embarking on profitable ventures which could lead to discovering their potentials.
On his programmes for the people when he get to power, he disclosed his intention to revive the economy of the state  through agriculture
His words, ” there are enough resources which are being controlled by Lagosians, while in actual fact tourist centers could be increased to boost the revenue of the state.
Earlier in his address, at a meeting held in Ilesa, headquarter of Ilesa West Local government of Osun state, the ILF Director General, Comrade Bode Oladitan said leadership is all about discovering of personal potentials.
Once they discover their potentials, he said, it will be easy for them to face the future and stop mortgaging their conscience, first by influencing a change in the lives of those politicians around them.
He also urged members to change their orientation by thinking of what they could do for the nation, adding that sensitisation of other non members should be seen as a collective responsibility.
Other guest speakers at the meeting include, Pastor Clement Morayo_ILF Treasurer,  Pastor Oyeniyi, Mrs. Adewumi and Mr. Adeunni, the Director of Public Enlightenment and Training.
