States, FG Called Upon To Improve Workers Welfare

A renowned businessman in Kano, Alhaji Usman Dan Gwari  has called on the  states and Federal Government to improve on  the welfare of their workers for better productivity, stressing  that without good  renumeration,, workers of all categories may not make good impact at both the states and federal levels.
He made the call  in an interview with our correspondent in Kano, where  he stated  that  without good welfare packages,  there would be no  performance in the states and federal labour, while the issue of war against corruption may not  be successful despite the federal government’s efforts to eliminate it across the country.
Alhaji  Dan Gwari stressed that any government that fails to cater for the welfare of it’s workers  should not expect  better productivity.
He advised both the states and federal governments to as a matter of urgency implement the minimum wage increase  for better results  at all sectors.
Commenting on the nation’s democracy, Dan Gwari stated that  as the 2018 general elections is drawing  nearer, Nigerians  should now start adjudging the types of dividends of democracy that they reaped since the last election in order to sieve better candidates for re-election in 2018 based on their performances.
Alhaji Usman also commended the member representing  Fagge Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Comrade Aminu Suleiman  Goro for his efforts in providing more dividends of democracy in his constituency for the betterment of his electorates.
He congratulated the newly elected chairman of Fagge Local Government Council for laying a solid foundation for  the development of the area since he assumed office.
