Schools in Nigeria have been challenged to emulate Cavendish International School in inculcating values and skills which include sports in their students and pupils, towards ensuring an all round development of the children.
Kaduna based Sports Consultant, Coach Felix Osiebe expressed this while commenting on the standard witnessed at the fourth edition of Cavendish International Schools Inter-House Sports, held at the Kaduna Township Stadium on Saturday.
“I wish some other schools can emulate The Cavendish School because they putting in a lot of efforts in eliciting a total child.
“They have seen the importance of sports to academics that why they are making it mandatory to organise their sports day annually,” he said.
He said that irrespective of the current economic state of the nation, he was impressed by the school management’s commitment.
“As the school’s sports consultant I witnessed the last edition it was colourful and superb but it cannot be compared to this particular edition as the bar was raised in this edition,” he added.
The sports consultant said that although there were a lot of challenges in the course of planning the event, which included the  sudden change of venue just a week to the event proper, it still turned out a huge success.
“But to God be the Glory the event today was a huge success great thanks to the entire Cavendish crew, parents and students for their unrelenting efforts in developing the future stars Cavendish Schools in indeed a Pace setter,” he submitted.
