Southern Kaduna Crisis: Investors Turning Their backs on Kaduna – El-rufai

Investors are turning their backs on Kaduna State following the break out of crisis in Southern Kaduna as they are afraid of losing their lives, Governor Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has said.
speaking on selected radio stations in live programmes in Kaduna Wednesday evening, El-rufai said investors in the just discovered Nickel and those who have shown interest in reviving the Kachia Ginger factory have all rescinded their decisions.
According to him, the initial investors who showed their interest in the nickel said to him that if him as the sitting governor could be stoned, they as investors don’t think they are safe and would not risk their lives to come invest their hard earned money where their lives and investments would not be safe.
El-rufai said the same situations is applicable to the moribund Kachia Ginger Factory but assured that he would not relent in going after the investors to come and invest in the state.
He also revealed that the state got its portion of the Paris Club debt refund and the money would be used to settle outstanding pension and gratuities through a supplementary budget that would be sent to the State House of Assembly.
