“We sympathize with the traumatized families of the victims and general members of the communities,” Abraks said.

“We pray for successes in the efforts to secure the release of those kidnapped.” He added.
The union  said it believes the attacks aim to distract Senator Uba Sani and undermine the progress made in security by the Federal and Kaduna State governments.
” SOKAPU urges the governments to address the root causes of these attacks and ensure the safety of citizens.
“The kidnapped victims include Happy Bitrus, Fenedic Bitrus, Regina Arewa, Mary Joshua, Joy Joshua, Miller Ezra, Mattis Stephen, Olever Stephen, Monday Iliya, Florence Oliver, Blessing Maidoki, Mrs. Ezeh Paska, Beatrice Saleh, Bihari Mallam, and Ado Onomai,” it said.

“SOKAPU leadership is thankful to the Governor for his proactive approach and steps to avert  the further unwanton killings of innocent lives and destruction of properties experienced during the protests within the state, which necessitated introduction of 24 hours curfew.
