The Zaria Local Government Chairmanship candidate under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the last local government election, Barrister Yusuf Sambo has cautioned members of PDP to shun any action that will keep the party to remain as opposition comes 2023 by changing the approach.
Barrister Sambo  gave the warning during an interview with journalists in Zaria on the state of the PDP in Nigeria.
He said with the look of things, something wrong is about to happen which will jeopardise  the progress of the party.
The chairmanship candidate pointed out that  party members must unite as one entity, which guarantees that PDP will unseat the APC  as it happened in 2015.
He observed that one of the major problems in the party is lack of serious commitment of members particularly when it comes to supporting a candidate during election.
The politician also  expressed fears for what will happen to the PDP if it allows selfishness to override the party’s guidelines or constitution, stressing, “that will not be  good  for the party.”
Barrister Yusuf Sambo also advised PDP loyalists to remain focused and follow the right politicians with the party’s zeal who are ready to carry the party’s flag for progress.
