She’ite group commends, drums support for Buhari

The Rasulul‎ A’azam Foundation (RAAF), a Shi’ite based Muslim organization in Nigeria has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts in fixing Nigeria numerous problems, saying “We commended his remarkable success”.
The National Secretary of the Foundation, Sheik Saleh Mohammad Sani Zaria made the commendation weekend while talking to newsmen at the celebration of the birthday of the great Imam al Mahdi in Bauchi.
‎Sheikh Saleh Sani Zaria explained that Shi’ite faithful are law abiding citizens of Nigeria, adding that “We never work against government or act in disparities with the authorities, we respect all authorities that be”.
“We voted for Buhari, we know he is capable of fixing this country which he is doing it now, look at the insecurity, the economy, corruption which he made advances in fighting against. As far as we are concern, he has made a remarkable success in this one year, and we will continue to support his vision and government” he said.
Zaria added, “As a foundation we know how much we contribute our quarter in the democratic process, we spent money on how to restore peace and fight against immorality”.
A communiqué issued at the end of the occasion, signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Foundation, Alhaji Nasir‎ Jaafar, called on the Muslim Umma to brace up for unity, peace and mutual relations with members of other sects and non-Muslims for peace building.
The communiqué also urged Nigerians to eschew any form of rancour and sectarian divides, towards building peaceful nation for all to enjoy.
It said the organization is committed to the loyalty of its liberal political system of federalism and support the on-going efforts under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration
