Sheikh Bala Lau tasks Muslims on Islamic activities

The National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a Waikamatul  Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abullahi Bala Lau has stressed the need for Muslim communities to contribute meaningfully toward supporting Islamic activities.
He made the call during his visit to the Muslim Specialist Hospital, Danmagaji, Zaria, at the weekend, saying JIBWIS will partner with the hospital as part of effort in actualising the mission and vision of the hospital.
 
Lau who expressed appreciation over what he saw on ground, assured the hospital management of his full support in actualizing the desired objective in the only Muslim Specialist Hospital which is part of his dream on how to establish such an institution.
 
The Islamic Scholar further said a committee will be put in place to facilitate how the hospital could be upgraded along with the take-off proposed school of Nursing as other important projects to be in place.
 
According to him, this project needs every Muslim to contribute no matter how small the amount, it will greatly make impact towards actualizing the hospital establishment.
 
While commenting on the facilities available in the hospital, Sheikh Lau said, he is encouraged and happy with what he saw on ground as well as the hospital management commitment in running the only Muslim Specialist Hospital, Danmagaji Zaria.
 
On the flood disaster, the Islamic scholar, called on the government and individuals to urgently assist the victims to alleviate the hardship they are undergoing.
 
Earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman Board of Management Muslim Specialist Hospital, Alhaji Mustapha Jumare told the delegation that the hospital is designed to have 300 bed space and currently it has 90 bed space while waiting to have more funds for the completion of the project in order to accommodate all the hospital plan.
Alhaji Jumare said, the hospital has enough space to start the Nursing School, and other expansion programmes in the hospital.
 
According to him, the hospital is expected to gulp N1.3 billion to complete all the expected design for the full take-off.
 
In his remarks, the Director of the Hospital, Alhaji Abubakar Idris commended Sheihk Abdullahi Bala Lau for the visit despite his tight schedule.
 
Alh. Idris said the visit is a moral booster to the entire hospital community and hoped this will be the beginning of other prominent personalities visit to the hospital with the aim of contributing towards the hospital development.
