The recent appointment of Distinguished Senator Danjuma Tella La’ah the incumbent senator representing zone three (3) in Kaduna State at the National Assembly as the State Coordinator for the PDP presidential campaign council did not come to many as a surprise, considering his remarkable and indelible marks in the annals of the political history and development of southern Kaduna and indeed Kaduna State.
The Deputy Minority Leader of the Nigerian Senate has in the last seven years, made invaluable contributions towards the defense, projection and the amelioration of the suffering of the downtrodden in his senatorial district.
This is one astute administrator and defender of the masses that gave his all to his people and in return, earned their respect and goodwill.
Senator Danjuma La’ah never allowed his humble beginning to affect his normal tendencies, hence his solemn conviction to give and do more for the emancipation of the rural poor.
Knowing well the political conspiracy that truncated his return to the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in 2023, the peoples Senator has refused to be moved, perturbed nor frustrated by the calculations of his political detractors.
Before his appointment by the PDP Presidential Campaign Council as state coordinator, many political observers were guessing his next political move, to either defect to another political party after the well calculated arrangement that thwarted his return ticket. Alas, the humble Senator remained focused with a clear conviction that only God gives power to whom he so wishes and at a particular time.
He refused to be cajoled over the permutations of the new brigade in liaison with the old brigade commanders. Being a faithful and resilient champion that he is, Danjuma La’ah always believes in the Southern Kaduna project and gave all he has for the overall growth and development of the area.
A trailblazer and a bridge builder with humane spirit and capacity to lead and deliver, Senator La’ah is loved by many and easily accessible by all.
He attracted meaningful development to his constituency, particularly the Nigerian police Secondary School, Tum in Kaura Local Government Area, to bridge the gap artificially created between the children of the rich and the poor in our egalitarian society of today.
Same quality representation compelled him to initiate a motion that saw the conversion of the Federal School (College) of Statistics in Manchok also in Kaura Local Government Area, to a Federal University now awaiting take off.
With Danjuma La’ah as the captain of the ship of the current Atiku Abubakar campaign movement in Kaduna State, many supporters and lovers of genuine democracy are very optimistic of the party’s chances of regaining grounds and delivering the state towards the PDP victory in the forth coming general elections in 2023.
Gentle and unassuming, the Deputy Minority Leader of Nigeria’s Senate, has always believed that corruption is the squandering of public trust, alas, a factor that many who couldn’t deliver in the past, played to the gallery with a view to halting his political sagacity and prowess.
To him, PDP is his family and the only umbrella that could effect the desired positive change in Kaduna state and Nigeria.
In the final analysis, Senator Danjuma La’ah has the charisma and the needed capacity to win, thus even those that worked against his return are now bent on supporting and according him the necessary loyalty with a view to coming out victorious in the 2023 general elections in Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
