Security Challenges; Kebbi Police inaugurates EPF Committee

Following the consistency of insecurity in the country, Acting Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim K. Idirs has ordered the states Commissioners of Police in the country to set-up a committee that will face the challenges sequelly aimed at bringing to an end of insecurity in the country.
 
At this end, Kebbi State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Kabir has set-up and inaugurated the eminent people forum committee who are charged to look into the continues of in-security in the state.
The EPF is headed by the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Iliyasu Bashar.
 
According to him, the committee which has other security stakeholders that includes; Senior Police officers, N.U.R.T.W, N.G.O. Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association etc would from time to time hold meeting to stragies on how to bring an end to in-security in the state.
 
He stated further that the committtee was set-up based on the directive given to them by Acting Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris in his readiness to address the security challenges in nation.
 
The committee was set-up at the presidential lodge in Birnin Kebbi with all senior police officers, Emirs of four emirate councils of the state, NGO’S and unions in attendence.
Chairman of the committee who is also the emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Iliyasu Bashar assured the commissioner that being an ex-military man, he will do all he could to see to the success of the committee.
