Kaduna State University (KASU) on Saturday, held a Virtual Combined 4th Convocation Ceremony and installation of His Highness, Sanusi Lamido 14th Emir of Kano as its Chancellor.
The colorful event which saw graduands of 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 awarded their bachelor’s degree, was held at the 1,000 Seater Auditorium at the univesity’s main campus on Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna.
In his brief remarks at the event, KASU Chancellor, thanked the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai for naming him Chancellor.
“Thank you for this great honour your Excellency, I will do my best to contribute to the growth of KASU,” he said.
The 14th Emir of Kano said that with the investments being put on place under Governor Nasir el-Rufai, Kaduna is set to reclaim it’s lost glory.
“Kaduna ready to reclaim it’s lost glory,” he said.
At the convocation, graduands were among others, awarded withBachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science Architecture and Bachelor of Science Environment Management.
Other degrees awarded are Bachelor of Management Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy, BSC Economics and BSC Mass Communication.
Similarly, Post graduate degrees, were awarded in Post Graduate Diplomas, Masters Degree and PhD.
