He attributed the investment and support benefits derivable to the state to the strides and laudable actions of the Yuguda-led administration that attracted the attention and interest of the International donors.
Magaji recalled that the Yuguda administration in Bauchi state had since its inception in 2007 came with a vision, passion and commitment to increasing access to safe water supply and sanitation in line with the MDGs and National WASH policy.
Eng. Garba Magaji explained that the Yuguda vision and commitment led the government to embark on sector reform process that resulted in the establishment of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) in Bauchi state in 2009.
Magaji said the programme was further boosted with corresponding annual increase in budgetary allocations to the agency and in addition to approving a State WASH policy.
