The Independent National Electoral Commissio, INEC has declared Magnus Abe, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers South-East Senatorial Zone, as winner of the legislative rerun election in his district.
Onukwuisi Gideon, returning officer of the exercise, announced this Sunday evening.
Gideon said Abe polled a total of 125,938 votes to defeat Olaka Nwogu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who secured 25,394 votes.
