Rivers re-run; Protect your votes, Wike to Obio/Akpor Community

Rivers State Governor Barr. Nyesom Wike has urged people of Obio/Akpor community to protect their votes at the forthcoming March 19th re-run elections in the State.
The Governor said this at the flag-off ceremony of Ozuoba-Rumuosi Road, Ozuoba-Rumuokparali-Choba Road, Rumualogu-Alakahia Road and Igbogo-Choba Road in Port Harcourt.
According to him ‘‘Nobody will rig any election, we must mobilize to ensure that the will of people will prevail, PDP will win all re-run elections across Nigeria as people have come to the realization that the party is the only hope for the country. Make sure you protect your votes’’.
He noted that the constructions of the road is to fulfil his election promises to Obio/Akpor people for their support during his elections, adding also that his administration will continue to give support to projects in the area.
Speaking, the State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Kelvin Nwachukwu disclosed that the roads will be constructed with modern facilities that will stand the test of time.
Earlier, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Hon. Bright Amaewule said that the project will enhance the economic well being of the Local Government Area.
