Rise Up Project Staff Implementing FHANI  Capacity Building On e-Learning Platforms – Project Manager

Project staff implementing Family Health Advocates in Nigeria Initiative (FHANI)  Advocacy project had their capacity built on e-learning platforms, to give boost to the Rise Up Project. 

In his opening remarks at the training,  the chairman Family Health Advocates in Nigeria Initiative (FHANI) Bala Mohammed Tijanni who is the District Head of Doka, welcomed all participants and urged them to be creative and participate actively during the capacity building.

The Rise Up Project Manager and Fellow, Grace Maikano said the capacity building became necessary to equip the project staff for the implementation of the project.

In her presentation, she said e-Learning policy is necessary because of the prevailing situation of insecurity in some parts of the states where schools are closed and students unable to learn. 

She said some of the platforms used for e-learning include among others audio, video, CDs, webnair, internet etc. 

She emphasized the importance and advantages of e-Learning and the need for the Kaduna State government to formulate and adopt an e-Learning policy. 

Project staff appreciated the training as some.said it has given them more knowledge and capacity to fully support the implementation of the project.
