RIGAN Games begin today in Zaria

The 15th edition of the Research Institutes Games tagged “Let’s Go Zazzau NITT 2015” is to be officially declared open today, Monday at the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) Zariam Sports Complex.
Governor Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufa’i of Kaduna State is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour and Minister of Transport Mr. Rotimi Chibiuke Ameachi will serve as the Chairman of the occasion.
Other expected dignitaries at the opening ceremony includes Minister of Youths and Sports, Minister of Agriculture and Natural Development, Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Water Resources and Minister of Environment as Special Guests.
The emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris is the Royal Father of the day while Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transport Alhaji Sabi’u Zakari is the Chief Host.
The 15th edition will feature over 300 athletes from over 50 Research Institutes in Nigeria.
