The Emir expressed dismay and saddness about the nonchalant attitude of leaders of northern region, who neglected the two companies, established by the late Premier and allow them to be distressed.
He pointed out that these companies could be utilized by Governors to publicize whatever they want sold out to the public without paying a kobo but instead went to spend huge amount else where to achieve their goals.
He emphasised that the governors must wake up and strive to revive such glorious institutions in the interest of the region.
The Emir however advised the Governors in the region to declare total war against insurgency in the North East.
He also implored them to develop the region through agriculture and solid mineral resources with less dependence on oil.
In their remarks, the team assured the Emir that they will do all they could to bring back the lost glory of the northern region before 2019.
