*Expresses commitment to collaborating with Govs Forum for region’s growth, prosperity

Southwest Caucus of the House of Representatives today, congratulated Gov Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his election as the Chairman of the South West Governors Forum.
The caucus in a statement by the Deputy Chief Whip and Leader of the South West Caucus, Hon Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, expressed confidence in Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership abilities.
According to the caucus, “Governor Sanwo-Olu has demonstrated remarkable dedication and competence in his role as the Governor of Lagos State”.
” His emergence as the Chairman of the Southwest Governors Forum is a testament to his leadership qualities and the trust his fellow governors place in him”, he said.
Hon Onanuga added, ” We are confident that under his stewardship, the forum will achieve new heights in fostering unity, development, and progress across the region”.
Chairman of the Southwest Caucus, Hon James Abiodun Faleke, , also commended Governor Sanwo-Olu’s election, saying “Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision and commitment to the development of the Southwest are well known”
” His leadership of the Southwest Governors Forum will undoubtedly bring about enhanced collaboration and strategic initiatives that will benefit all states in the region. We look forward to working closely with him to advance the interests of the Southwest and its people”
The Southwest Caucus of the House of Representatives then reaffirmed its support for Governor Sanwo-Olu and the Southwest Governors Forum, saying, “We are committed to collaborating with the forum to ensure the region’s growth and prosperity”.
