The Representative of Owo/Ose federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Dr. Bode Ayorinde has called on Youths to shun ”thuggery” for a living but rather learn a trade.
Dr. Ayorinde stressed the need for the people of the state to stop the search for quick gains and wealth acquisition, saying morality had been sold to purchase immorality, and ”things have fallen apart”.
Addressing a Press Conference in Akure, Dr. Ayorinde said, there is need to ”rediscover ourselves and return to path of honour and dignity” because ”if we fail to return our youth to decency and godliness, whatever we build in this state in terms of infrastructure and industry will be destroyed and mismanaged by them”.
He recalled how the Enterprise which he founded inn 1991 has since produced several Chartered Bankers and Accountant ants at Ibadan and it has metamorphosed into Achievers University in Owo, Ondo state.
Dr. Ayorinde however called on politicians, sons and daughters of Ondo State to unite and rebuild moribund infrastructures in areas of Education, Health institutions for the common man and not for selected few.
As a Governorship aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ayorinde said, his core programme is industrialisation and every Local Government shall witness industrial growth capable of providing jobs not only for the people of the state, but also to attract other Nigerians and foreigners to the Sunshine state.
Dr. Ayorinde, who held a Doctorate Degree in International Banking law said, he eagerly look forward to take over the mantle of governorship of the state for the purpose of service with the fear of God.
He however solicited for a free, fair and credible primary by the party as an antidote to peaceful cohesion among the aspirants, adding that a credible, free and fair primary makes the work of the party’s candidate easier.
He therefore enjoined fellow aspirants to eschew all forms of bitterness by making their campaigns issue based.
