Popular lawyer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Prince Adewole Adebayo, has called for prayers for Nigeria as Muslims commence their Ramadan fast in April.
Adewole, a presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 race, made this call in a tweet on Friday.
His tweet reads in part: “In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self denial by way of fasting is a metaphor of spiritual sacrifice, a down payment on our faith in expectations of divine mercy and blessings of Allah SWT.”
He urged Nigerians to also be “committed to building a just, fair society.”
