The Hon. Member-elect Representing Kaduna South Federal Constituency, Malam Hussaini Abdulkarim Ahmed (Mai Kero) has congratulated the Muslim Ummah, particularly his constituents on the sighting of the Crescent, commencing the holy month of Ramadan 1444 After the Hijra.
He called on Muslims across the 13 wards of the constituency to seize the opportunity of the holy month to showcase the good virtues of Islam.
In a statement made available yesterday by his Media aide, Sharifudeen Ibrahim Muhammad (Dan Jarida), Hon. Mai Kero enjoined the Muslim ummah to coexist with non Muslims peacefully, saying peace has no alternative.
He described the month of Ramadan as a month of repentance from bad to good deeds, forgiveness, reaching out to the needy as exhibited by the Noble Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
Hon. Mai Kero, pleaded with the Muslim Ummah to pray for him, to have a successful tenure for a better representation.
The MEMBER-ELECT prayed to Allah to give Kaduna South, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole, long lasting peace and sustainable development.
