Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has said that purposeful leadership requires sustainability of good initiatives for the improvement of the well-being of all citizens.

Governor Bello Masari stated this while speaking at a farewell meeting with some members of the Restoration Vanguard, led by the state chairman   and   Permanent Secretary on Protocol Matters, Alhaji Mustapha Wada Saulawa at General Muhammadu (Government) House.

Governor Masari observed that many young men have become productive as a result of the activities of the Restoration Vanguard.           

He charged members of the Restoration Vanguard to ensure that their children attend both Islamic and Western education for their brighter future.

Governor Aminu Bello Masari who spoke on the relevance of vocational skills towards enhancing the socio-economic wellbeing of the society promised to maintain relationship with them even after living office.

Earlier, the state chairman of the Restoration Vanguard, Alhaji Mustapha Wada Saulawa revealed that over 1,000 members in Katsina metropolis are currently receiving ten thousand Naira each on monthly basis through the association.

Alhaji Mustapha Saulawa appealed to the  incoming state government to carry along members of the association in its activities.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the Restoration Vanguard, Alhaji Abdullahi Isah Bagi revealed that the association started its crusade with 33 members, but currently has over five thousand members across the state.
