Proprietor Begs Govt To Support Private Schools

 Government at all levels in the country have been urged to as a matter of urgency support  individuals who volunteered to set up institutions that are catering for thousands who could not get enrolment into public schools.
The Proprietor/Director of Majema College of Advanced Studies, Ghali Musa Abba made the call during the graduation ceremony of 228 who studied Library and Information Science,  in affiliation with the Ahmadu Bello  University (ABU),  Zaria at the school premises in Jos.
“In fact, there is a serious need for the the government and philantrophic individuals to assist  proprietors of education because of the increase in population all over the country,” he said.
 Ghali Musa Abba stressed that such interventions by the federal government will help in the provision of better teaching materials.
He said the government must encourage the education of its citizenry for a better society, stating that in 2021, the school’s fiirst set of students totalling 63 graduated.
According to him, the school  started with only two department and they are making efforts to include other courses approved by the Faculty of Education at  ABU Zaria.
 Earlier, the Director of the school also addressed the  graduating students.
He charged them to be be good ambassador of the school anywhere they find themselves
He gave  special thanks to the Department of Education ABU Zaria for their continuous support and growth of the school.
The director also expressed appreciation to all lecturers and non academic staff for their role in the success recorded so far.
