People of Malumfashi Local Government Area in Katsina State have expressed satisfaction with the execution of developmental projects in the area by Governor Aminu Bello Masari-led administration.
A concerned citizen in the area, Alhaji Tanimu Chairman Yarmama made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on some of the projects executed in the entire local government area.
Alhaji Tanimu Chairman cited example with Gora-Makaurachi-Gamzago tar road which he described as among the best projects executed by the state government across the thirty four local governments in the state.
He explained that for over 100 years, people of the area had to go through Gwarzo Local Government in Kano State before coming to Malumfashi Local Government secretariat.
The concerned citizens revealed that another meaningful project was the reconstruction of Malumfashi by pass which made it easy to travelers from Kaduna and Abuja to pass through to Kano and Katsina State.
According to him the rehabilitation of Malumfashi earth dam had greatly helped in solving acute water shortage especially in dry season.
Other key areas given attention by Governor Aminu Masari led administration according to him include health, education and empowerment programmes to youth, women and vulnerable people across the state.
