Private Health provider calls for revamping of the sector by the FG

The proprietor of Anwar Private Hospital and islamic school in Jos, Mallam  Harisu Salihu Abubakar has call on the federal government to provide affordable health care service in the country.
Speaking in a interview with New Nigerian Newspapers over the prevailing hardship faced by Nigerian coupled with the deplorable service, the proprietor hammered on the need for the regime at all levels to revamped the health sector.
He said the issue of health should be given a high priority by the government considering its importance to the citizens.
“Now that I ventured into healthcare delivery system, I have realized the urgent need by the government to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians in this regard”.
According to him, many people cannot access medical service because of the money and partly due to incessant strike action at public hospitals.
The situation he said is so bad that hospitals in the country couldn’t discharge patients owing hospital bills.
Mallam Harisu who is currently running a private school of health in the city of Jos, explained the crucial need for philanthropic individual in the nation to assist the less privileged.
Government he added cannot cater for all the health need of Nigerians, hence the need for cooperation and partnership with private establishments on health delivery in Nigeria.
