The survey report on the Nigerian Prisons would be formally presented to the public on 1st February 2018.
The Nigeria Prison Service (NPS) while announcing this development said the survey was anchored by experts assembled by the Prisons Rehabilitation and Welfare Action (PRAWA).
The survey report, according to NPS, is part of the reform agenda to be put forward to the federal government for implementation for the decongestion of prisons in the country.
The survey report will provide recommendations that will also lead to ensuring adequate welfare for every prison inmate in the country.
