President Buhari Visits Ebonyi, Commissions Projects

President Mohammadu Buhari has arrived Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State on a two-day visit to commission projects executed by the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr.  David Umahi in different parts of the state.
The president who arrived Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu, was welcomed by the governors of Ebonyi and Enugu states, amongst other prominent personalities who came to show their solidarity on the his visit.
On his arrival in Ebonyi State, he visited the ongoing Ebonyi State International Airport located in Onueke, Ezza South Local Government Area of the state from where he will visit other project sites across the state.
Among the projects are: Ebonyi Shopping Mall, President Buhari Light Tunnel, Ebonyi International Airport, King David Umahi University of Medical Sciences, Margret Umahi International Market amongst others.
Political office holders, party stalwarts, religious leaders, traditional rulers and other prominent personalities are on ground to witness the epoch making event.
Team of security agencies were seen in different locations of the state to ensure peace and security of lives and property.
Meanwhile, on the issue of sit-at-home, Abakaliki the Ebonyi State capital was busy with business activities as many shops were open for business while  some banks were open,  others  did not as at time of filing this report
Primary and secondly schools are currently on vacation.
Most of the inter-state transporters did not move out of the state, but only local commuters were seen operating within Abakaliki.
