He was reacting to the moves by the APC government in the state, that for the 3rd time, shifted the Council Election against the wish of the people.
Our Correspondent in Jos, reported on the development which the people said is capable of repeating the mistakes of previous regimes in plateau state.
The former Chief of staff who is also a PDP chieftain said increasing the tenure of the Caretakers was a violation of the constitution.
He believed that the APC government is afraid over the exercise because they have no support of the people at the local government levels in the state
According to him, “lack of democratic election at the local governments in the state is a big threat to the consolidation of our nascent democracy ”.
