Kebbi State Police Command has conducted a one-Day demonstration exercise to officers and men of the command on how to handle Improvised Explosive Devices IED.
The demonstrations which was the first of its kind conducted in the state by the command, was also another opportunity by the officers to get knowledge on how to rescue the casualties at scene of bomb blast.
Speaking shortly, state Commissioner of Police, Kabir M. Ibrahim stated that the aim of the demonstration was to brainstorm and prepare the officers on the new challenges of crime by men of the underworld particularly with the current bomb blast phenomenon.
According to him, the officers includes; Medical team, the anti bomb squad and the rescue team as well as tactical team who are expected to play important roles in the whole exercise.
Other team inlude SSS, FRSC, NSCDC and the Vigilante group.
