PMB’s Health: Katsina Holds Prayer Session

Special prayer session in aid of good health to President Muhammadu Buhari has been organized in Katsina with participation of over 2000 Islamic scholars including Chief Imams and their assistance of all Mosques across the 34 local government councils in the state.
           
The prayer session took place at Kangiwa Square Kofar Soro Emir’s Palace in Katsina metropolis attended by the State Government Officials under Governor Aminu Bello Masari, Emirs of Katsina, Daura and Hadejia in Jigawa State.
           
Several verses from the Holy Qur’an and Hadith were read by the Islamic Scholars who were categorized into seven groups.
           
Former Grand Khadi of the State Alhaji Isa Muhammad Dodo who served as a guest speaker at the occasion said “it is mandatory to pray for leaders for a successful stewardship”  stressing the need for it sustenance for the development and progress of the nation.
           
On his part the State Governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari attributed the return of peace in the North-East and Niger-Delta as a clear demonstration of the powers of prayers.
           
Speaking on behalf of Katsina and Daura Emirates, Emir of Daura Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq confirmed that President Muhammadu Buhari is “hale and hearty” and charged both Muslims and Christians nationwide to continue to pray for safe return of the President.
           
Alhaji Umar Faruq assured the gathering that traducers would be disappointed as President Muhammadu Buhari would soon return to Nigeria to continue to spearhead the country’s growth and development.
           
New Nigerian Newspapers gathered that hundreds of people attended the prayer session which paralyzed business activities of almost half of the Katsina town.
