Plateau Lawmaker Disburses N10,000 Each To 500 Women As Starter Packs

Over 500 women in Jos North Local Government Area have received ten thousand Naira each as starter packs for small and medium scale businesses.

This is in addition to the 2,500 beneficiaries courtesy of  Ibrahim Baba Hassan’s  plans and policies to enrol over 10,000 women into small and medium scale businesses as a panacea to  entrepreneurial skills to enable them become more successful, at  the event held at the State House of Assembly hall in Jos.

It would  be recalled that  during the graduation of over 4,000 at Islamiya Primary School last week, Ibrahim Baba Hassan assured citizens of Jos North Local Government Area of his desire to empower over 10,000 in the area.

The lawmaker did not renege on his words and continued to demonstrate that commitment by swinging into action in fulfillment of the promise he made so far, to take women out of poverty. 

Baba Hassan explained that his benevolence cuts across ethnic, religious cultural and political divides as he  empowers his constituents. 

Aside from the N10,000 empowerment plans, the lawmaker reiterated his commitment to encourage twenty thousand women into skills acquisition to lessen the burden of their families and empower them to become self reliant and independent. 

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jos North Local Government Area will enter  the nooks and crannies to deliver all candidates of the party and assured of his determination to lead the party to victory come 2023. 

Some of the beneficiaries, Abigail Ashom, Akare Ishaya, Akutse Joseph and Aisha Abubakar as well as Rakiyatu Jibrin  appreciated Ibrahim Baba Hassan for his benevolence in prioritizing the welfare and well-being of his constituents and prayed God grants him victory at the polls.

Similarly, member representing Jos North-North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Baba Hassan has received Minders Support Group, Automobile Technicians Associations in Jos North, BABS Charity Foundation and APC Secretaries Association Jos North.

He expressed gratitude for their cooperation and unflinching support, assuring that with his experience in the House, he will work closely with the youth and women, as well as enrol  them into economic ventures and provide employment opportunities to all and sundry in the locality.

Leaders of the various groups, hailed the virtues of Baba Hassan in driving the ticket of the APC to deliver the seat to the party and assured him of their support at all times.

The occasion climaxed with the presentation of a branded car by the lawmaker’s Charity Foundation to  Baba Hassan to ease his campaign in addition to the presentation of an award of excellence by the foundation for his unique input in impacting positively on humanity.
